Short version: this app collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking, and it does not send any of your information anywhere.
None. Learn Nihongo does not collect, store on a server, transmit, or share any personal information.
Your progress — scores, streaks, settings, and which questions you’ve seen — is saved only in your device’s local storage. It never leaves your device, and we cannot see it. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules a local daily study reminder directly on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.
The app’s content is bundled inside the app and works fully offline. The only optional network feature is your device’s built-in text-to-speech (audio), which is handled by the operating system.
There are no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services in this app.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
